# The rTokenization Process

We decided to use rToken derivatives instead of NFT derivatives of NFTs on the xFRAC. The current ability of an issuer wallet to set buy and sell orders for NFTs and Tokens with their issued tokens has made the process of rTokenization swift and applicable. What is rTokenization?\
**rTokenization** is the process of locking and redeeming NFTs on an xFRAC wallet. 

Below is a schematic diagram of both types of rTokenization:

It comprises two sub-processes, which are NFT fractionization and NFT de-fractionization.
